With a readership of over 4,200 subscribers, advertisements in the Oregon Historical Quarterly (OHQ) reach a broad audience of institutions and individuals interested in the region’s history. Advertising in the Oregon Historical Quarterly is limited to books and other materials compatible with the Oregon Historical Society’s mission to preserve our state’s history and make it accessible to everyone in ways that advance knowledge and inspire curiosity about all the people, places, and events that have shaped Oregon.

All ads, except those on the inside back cover, appear in the book review and letters section of the Quarterly and, unless otherwise specified, are printed in black and white. Ads with cut-out coupons are not accepted.

OHQ offers a 5% discount if an advertiser purchases an ad twice in a volume year; 10% if three times a year; 15% if four times a year; and 20% if the advertiser purchases ads in six issues over the span of two volume years.
