Digital Subscription FAQs

Project MUSE is an online database of peer-reviewed academic journals, run by Johns Hopkins University Press, that has been a trusted and reliable source of scholarly journals from many of the world's leading universities and scholarly societies. Read more about Project MUSE here.

Beginning with the Spring 2022 issue, Project MUSE will host the current issue of OHQ as well as all issues dating back to 2003. JSTOR will continue to provide access to the Quarterly’s archives (1900 to December 2021).

Existing and new subscribers will receive an email from Project MUSE to create a MyMUSE account with a unique username and password. Once you have signed up for a MyMUSE account and are logged in, visit the Oregon Historical Quarterly’s page on Project MUSE to explore the journal online!

Readers with a digital subscription will continue to access content on JSTOR as in the past by signing in with their username and password. New subscribers will receive instructions from the OHS membership team about how to access JSTOR content.
