Lisa Noah

Former Chief Operations Officer

Lisa Noah was the Chief Operations Officer (COO) at OHS. Her past professional experiences managing various departments of several attractions domestically and internationally; managing commercial real estate offices; serving the Newport, Oregon, community as an Economic Development Director, and as a co-owner of a traveling exhibit with her husband, Peter, served her well in her position as COO. In her 9.5 years at OHS, Lisa managed all of OHS’s facilities improvements at the downtown and Gresham buildings, both aesthetically and mechanically. She was also responsible for the sale of the Sovereign Hotel building, which brought in critical funding that OHS placed into savings for emergency needs, like the current pandemic.

Aside from her husband Peter, daughter Shauna, and 7-month-old grandson Jonah, Lisa is most proud of serving as a Planning Commissioner for the City of Newport, Oregon, which is a mayor appointed position responsible for overseeing construction development within the Newport city limits; serving as the Oregon State Lottery Commissioner, bringing $2.5 million dollars in federal funding for an approach lighting system to the Newport Airport, thanks to Kerry Tymchuk who then was the State Director for U.S. Senator Gordon Smith; and being chosen as a Newport Business and Professional Woman of the Year.

Lisa has a B.S. in marketing with a minor in communications. Lisa and Peter enjoy traveling, mostly to the Caribbean Islands, walking their adopted stray dog, Lucky, and spending time with her grandson.
