![]() Fee Schedule The Oregon Historical Society (OHS) generally requires that use of our sound recordings and transcripts occur at the OHS Library. However, under special circumstances and on a prearranged basis, recordings may be duplicated and purchased, in which case the following charges apply:
Other Services Oral History Research Assistance: $60.00 per hour, half-hour minimum Shipping and Handling: The basic handling fee for orders is $6.00; additional charges may be added for shipment by private carriers such as UPS, or for heavy shipments. Fax: Faxing of transcripts is available at $1.00 per page. Production Use: Permission is limited to one-time use. A separate request in writing is required for any subsequent use or alteration of the original sound or literary format. Credit must be given to the Oregon Sound Archive of the Oregon Historical Society along with reference to the specific collection name where applicable. A copyright disclaimer must be signed and returned before recordings will be released.
Use of Transcripts in Productions Some charges per minute apply. The standard fair-use quoting is excepted. A complimentary copy of finished productions using OHS sound recordings and transcripts must be furnished to OHS. Prices are effective 7/1/06 and subject to change without notice.
