Sonam Pelmo also studied at the same performing arts school where she learned to play traditional music, specializing in traditional songs and dances. Together, they performed worldwide before moving to Vancouver, Washington. Sonam Pelmo teaches Tibetan traditional songs and dances at Tibet House in Portlalnd. Both of them have a lot of experience performing in schools and enjoy sharing their culture with students.
