Native American Storytelling
Harvest Moon’s dynamic theatrical performance will provide students with a unique perspective of Northwest Coast Native Americans. Her unique presentation describes the cultural practices and traditions of Coastal Salish Natives, exhibits several traditional artifacts, and demonstrates how stories and legends serve as the “history book of mankind.” Her stories move students to laugh and cry; they encourage exploration of a variety issues and question how views of Native American culture and traditions have evolved over time.
