Frank Jim was born in Prineville, Oregon and is Yi-Em-ah, or of the River People and lives on the Warm Springs Reservation. Growing up, he learned many traditional arts: cedar basket making, storytelling and drumming as well as drum making. He now plays in a drumming group called Eagle Thunder.

Dream Catchers

Franks teaches how to make dream catchers using a willow or brass hoop, feathers and colored sinew string.

Cedar Bark Baskets
Frank teaches students to make cedar bark baskets

Drum Making

Students learn to make their own miniature hand drums.
