![]() Esther Stutzman is a Native American storyteller, a role that was passed through the generations of her family. She learned stories from her grandmother who was over 100 when she died. Her family was very traditional, and kept the knowledge of the old ways. Esther’s heritage is Yoncalla/Kalapuya and Coos and she is an enrolled member of the Confederated Tribes of Siletz. She lives in Yoncalla and has worked in schools for over 30 years doing programs in storytelling, music and dance.

Her presentation strives to give an accurate demonstration of the Native American world view. She gives and introduction to drumming and pow-wow dancing.
