The artists on the Folk Artists Roster provide residencies, assembly performances, after-school classes, workshops for multicultural events, and more. Format descriptions and fees are listed below. Artist Residencies: $750 per week + an administration fee; supplies and travel reimbursement may apply.* Long-term visiting artist programs take place during school hours to maximize artists' contact with students. Description: • 5 day minimum, 20 hour per week maximum • Four 45-60 minute classes per day maximum • 30 students per class maximum • Artist meets with the same four classes each day (teacher must be present throughout). Performances: See individual artist's listing for fees; travel allowance may apply.* • 45-60 minute music or dance presentations for assemblies or evening events • Discounted rates for two or more back-to-back performances Workshops: $37.50 per hour + an administration fee; supplies and travel reimbursements may apply.* • Artists meet with students once to demonstrate or teach hands-on activities • 2-hour minimum • May be in-school, after-school, and evening events.
